RPET 2015 Selection Process
For the admission purpose, candidates shall be picked on the basis of marks achieved in the exam. Following the marks, ranks would be assigned and candidates shall be arranged in the order of ranks in merit list. They would be further called for counselling and allotment on the basis of merit listing.
RPET 2015 Exam Tentative Schedule
The exam shall be held in the month of May 2015 in the morning session (9:00 am to 12:00 noon). Candidates have to report at least half an hour before the exam starts. They won’t be able to leave the exam venue before the time ends.
RPET 2015 Eligibility Criteria – General Norms
Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam else their application would be rejected on the grounds of incomplete eligibility.
- A candidate born on or after 1 October 1990 are eligible to apply for the exam. (5 year relaxation for SC, ST and PwD category candidates i.e. 1 October 1985)
- Date of birth as depicted in the class X certificate will be considered as final. No alteration is possible in this regard.
- Candidate must belong to the state of Rajasthan and should bear a domicile as a proof of permanent resident of the state of Rajasthan.
RPET 2015 Eligibility Criteria – Minimum Education Qualification
- Candidate is required to appear in class XII exam from Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other equivalent state or central examination recognized by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan/Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE).
- It is necessary to pass the class XII or qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (For candidates belonging to “SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non creamy layer SBC” of Rajasthan state – 40%).
- Allowed subject combination required in the class XII or qualifying examination is given in the table as below:

RPET 2015 Reservation Criteria
A fixed percentage of seats shall be kept reserved for candidates belonging to reserved class/category/caste/tribe. Detailed breakdown of seat reservation is as follows:

Rajasthan PET 2015 Application Form – Process and Fee
To apply for the exam, candidates have to fill an application form in correct and complete details. Brief process of application is described here:
- To fill the application form, it is necessary to visit the official website of RPET 2015.
- Click the appropriate link to apply for the exam.
- Upload scanned images of signature and photograph in correct resolution.
- Enter necessary details – personal, educational, communicational.
- Submit the RPET 2015 Application Form and take its printout after confirming the details.
- Take note of the application form details.
- Send the copy of the application form along with necessary details to the office.
- Fees for application is Rs.800 + Rs 15 (e-Mitra service charges) which can be paid at e-Mitra/ CSC centers.
Rajasthan PET 2015 Admit Card
Only those candidates would be issued admit card who successfully submit the application form. RPET 2015 Admit Card would be available on the official website of Rajasthan PET. Candidates can download it by entering application number, registration number. Furthermore, it is necessary to bring the hall ticket to the exam hall else no entry would be given. They are suggested to preserve hall ticket till the admission process is over.
Rajasthan PET 2015 Exam Pattern
- Exam would last 180 minutes and be held in a single session.
- Questions would be asked in two languages – Hindi and English.
- Total number of questions in the exam – 120.
- Total number of marks in the exam – 120.
- Total number of sections in the exam – 3.
- Marks weightage of each section – 40 question, 40 marks each from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
- No marks shall be deducted for any incorrect answer given by the candidate.

RPET 2015 Result
- Exam authority will declare the RPET 2015 Result on the official website in the month of June 2015.
- As per the result, a merit list will be issued by the board which will enlist candidates in the decreasing order of marks.
- The candidate with highest marks would be kept at the top of the list.
- RPET result sheet would be sent to the candidates via post.
- They shall be further called for counselling and allotment as per the merit list ranking.
- In case a candidate wants to get his duplicate mark-sheet issued, he is required to submit a DD of Rs.100 to Coordinator, RPET, payable at Jodhpur.
- If there is a tie in result of two candidates, tie-breaking criteria will be followed where preference to the candidate will be given in order of marks in Math, Physics and at last, age.
Rajasthan PET 2015 Counselling
- Number of seats available in the colleges and universities for allotment will be declared on the official website of RPET.
- Before the college commences, candidates would be able to see the vacancies for counselling and allotment.
- Merit list candidates would be called for participation in counselling.
- It is required to reach the exam venue with all the supporting original documents and certificates.
- In the Rajasthan PET 2015 Counselling, candidates would be given chance to mark options of colleges and courses in the order of priority.
- At counselling, they have to pay Rs.10000 at any e-Mitra or CSC Kiosk center.
- Apply the 16 digit token given on making payment and log in to open your account.
- Enter your choices of courses in order of priority.
- Once they are allotted a seat, they are required to submit documents at the allotted college on making payment of balance fees.
